PROCEDURE TEXT

CHAPTER 3 PART 1 

Definition

= Procedure Text describes how something works or text that instructs how to do something.

Purpose

- To explain / tell (readers) how to make / operate or do something through the steps.

- Describe the steps / instructions to make / operate or do something.

Example 

HOW TO MAKE A CUP OF HOT CHOCOLATE

INGREDIENTS : 

– 1 spoons of sugar 

– 1 spoon of chocolate powder 

– hot water 

– a cup 

– a spoon

PROCEDURE :

1. Prepare 1 spoons of sugar, a cup, hot water, 1 spoon of chocolate powder, a spoon.

2. Put 1 spoon of chocolate powder into the cup.

3. Add 1 spoons of sugar into a cup of chocolate

4. Pour some hot water into the cup.

5. Stir it well and the hot chocolate is ready to drink
